Philadelphia Hospitality cordially invites your group of garden enthusiasts to pack their wide brimmed hats, don their comfortable walking shoes and come to the Philadelphia region to enjoy our Glorious Gardens tours.                                                  

Spring, Summer and Fall are ideal times  to visit Philadelphia’s famous public and private gardens and Philadelphia Hospitality is the perfect host to navigate your group through this spectacular abundance of native and agricultural flora.                                  

                                                                        

During your stay in Philadelphia you can visit the University of Pennsylvania’s Morris

Arboretum, Historic Bartram’s Garden and the colonial gardens of the historic homes of Stenton and Cliveden.  Travel to Bucks County for a visit to Meadowbrook Farm and the Landscape Arboretum of Temple University the site of the Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women founded in 1911.  Visit Chanticleer, the region’s most famous pleasure garden and the botanical gardens of the Henry Foundation during an excursion to Chester County.

If you choose to stay in the Brandywine Valley your days will be filled with visits to the world famous du Pont mansions and estates of Winterthur, Nemours and Hagley and the gardens of Longwood and Mt. Cuba.  A stay in this area is not complete without a visit to the Brandywine River Museum, which houses the works of three generations of Wyeth’s and is also the showcase for the Brandywine Conservancy's Wildflower and Native Plant Gardens.  And you will be just a stone’s throw from the famous Ladew Topiary Gardens and the historic town of New Castle.

In addition to the abundance of gardens and arboretums, your special program could include visits to the region’s cultural and historic sites such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Foundation and Independence National Historical Park.

    • Enjoy a special docent-led tour of the Flower Show, before the doors open to the public

    • Visit the special gardens of  Chanticleer and Meadowbrook Farms
    • Explore the Victorian gardens at Morris Arboretum and colonial gardens at Historic Bartram’s Garden
     

     GARDENS OF THE BRANDYWINE  VALLEY - Spring and Fall

    • Stay at the world famous Hotel du Pont in  Wilmington, DE
    • Tour the country estates and gardens of Longwood, Winterthur and Nemours
    • Discover the hidden gardens of Mt.Cuba and Gibraltar
