featuring the
2009 Philadelphia Flower Show's Bella Italia
March 5-8, 2009


We cordially invite you to Philadelphia in Full Bloom, an extraordinary four-day program, scheduled for March 5-8, 2009 specially designed by Philadelphia Hospitality for garden enthusiasts and art lovers.

The centerpiece of your program is the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s renowned Philadelphia Flower Show — the most beautiful and largest annual indoor flower show in the world.

As a participant in this special program, you will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the Flower Show before the doors are opened to the public. The show’s theme, Bella Italia will pay tribute to the regions and cities of Italy including: Milan, Florence, Venice, Tuscany and the Italian Riviera.

Also included is a VIP tour of the Cezanne and Beyond exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art featuring the master and artisits inspired by his modern style and a full day's excursion to the beautiful Brandywine Valley, with visits to the Brandywine River Museum and Longwood Gardens.

Brand new for 2009, the program offers optional tours or free time to explore! Visit the renowned Barnes Foundation, attend a performance of the Philadelphia Orchestra at the acclaimed Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts or discover a new favorite during your free afternoon in downtown Philadelphia!

You will stay at The Inn at The Union League, a distinguished private club conveniently located on Philadelphia’s dynamic Avenue of the Arts. Truly in a class by itself, The Inn offers an incomparable mix of distinctive history and old-world hospitality.

  • A 4-day/3-night stay at the prestigious Inn at The Union League
  • Welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the Union League of Philadelphia
  • Docent-led tour of the Flower Show before public hours
  • Full day’s excursion to the beautiful Brandywine Valley, including the Brandywine River Museum and Longwood Gardens

  • Lunch at historic City Tavern

PROGRAM COST:

COST: $1,150 per person based on double occupancy, $1,505 per person, single occupancy.
Full payment is due at the time of reservation. Program cost includes 3 nights’ accommodations, meals and admissions as indicated in the itinerary. Transportation to and from Philadelphia NOT included.
