Small World Department

We are always amazed at our small world. Last year, Patsy Garno, one of our most stalwart and enthusiastic board members, spoke with Marsha Welsh, of Ocean Reef, FL and Reading, PA at a lecture following a round of golf. Patsy was delighted to learn that the Reef Seekers, a group of antiques enthusiasts, were planning to visit Philadelphia for the Philadelphia Antiques Show. As Patsy doesn’t miss an opportunity to promote Philadelphia Hospitality, she immediately asked who was helping plan that trip and Marsha introduced her to Jane Ferger White.

It turned out that Jane had already contacted our director of programs. She added that the Reef Seekers had used Philadelphia Hospitality services before, and were exceptionally pleased (an oft-heard comment we’re happy to report). When the next Antiques Show rolled around, we welcomed Choose and Cherish, a group of Midwesterners who winter in Key Largo, Florida. And how did they hear of us – from the Reef Seekers of course!
