Greetings:
It is our pleasure to provide you with our most recent E-Newsletter, Opening Doors. I hope that you accept and can appreciate our decision to ”go green” and to eliminate the hard copy. And we sincerely hope that you enjoy it!
What a challenging year this has been for most everyone. Almost all nonprofit organizations are dealing with the economic downturn by focusing on core competencies, remaining in close contact with membership and supporters and proactively advancing their mission.
Ultimately, the economy will recover and Philadelphia Hospitality will continue to promote the Philadelphia region as a world class destination. The museums, historic sites, gardens and cultural activities are unequalled in quality. Our out of town guests continue to be amazed at our region’s cultural riches and compliment the unique programs of Philadelphia Hospitality.
This newsletter gives you a brief look into our programs, events and board member additions. The photographs attempt to capture the fun and excitement of our members and guests while attending events or participating in our programs.
We were thrilled with the response to the Vision for Philadelphia Award honoring Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter in 2008. With equal pride we ask you to join us as we honor the Philadelphia Phillies and David Montgomery on June 8, 2009.
Finally, we are planning new, innovative tourism experiences for cultural, professional and corporate groups. Please let us know if we can help you or your organization with planning a meeting or event.
Again, thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Regards,
Bill
